Announcements

 April 15th  During school concert for BES.

April 17th  Band Spring Concert PHS Auditorium Sunday 2:00 pm.

April 18th  During school concert for PHS (high school).

April 18th  19th  20th  21st   Majorette, Colorguard, Danceline, and Drum Major auditions from 3:30 - 5:00 pm.

April 22nd  Auxiliary Auditions. Navy blue shorts, white t-shirts, tennis shoes only. 4:00 pm.

April 23rd  Solo and Ensemble Competition, Rainbow Middle School. Depart school Saturday at 8:00 am.

April 29th  & 30th  JSU Honor Choir weekend!!! Congrats to accepted students.

May 5 th  Varsity Band Banquet, BES Cafeteria

May 26th  Graduation: 6-11th grade band members wear classic black and white attire.

Would you like to buy a candle? Our candle sale kicks off on Monday, April 4, 2005. I encourage every member to sell FIVE CANDLES. These funds will be saved toward our much needed Sousaphone .... $4000.00 is our GOAL. Help Jennifer Riggs have a new horn before Band Camp!... Sell five candles!!!!! Money and order form to be turned in to Mrs. Smith by April 15, 2005.

Wanting to try out for Drum Major, Majorette, Colorguard, or our new Danceline?  Sign-up sheet will be in the Bandroom on Friday, April 1, 2005.  Be sure to get parent permission before signing up.  Anyone selected for these positions will be responsible for purchasing their uniform and all misc. equipment.  This usually runs from $250.00 - $400.00 (Drum major is more)  Good luck to everyone trying out.  I'm very excited about our upcoming marching season.  It's going to be GREAT!!!!!!

The band is currently taking donations for a new Baritone Sax and Tuba.

Parents, we need your email addresses. The band newsletter and other information may be emailed to you after we receive the addresses.

Donations are needed to help fund the William S. Brindza Scholarship.  This scholarship will be awarded to a senior band member each year.  Elissa Crowe was the first to receive this scholarship.  All checks should be mailed to:
