2006 Horatio Alger Scholarship
- must be enrolled full time as a high school senior, progressing toward graduation in Spring 2006, with plans to enter college no later than the fall following graduation
- must intend to pursue a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- must demonstrate critical financial need ($50,000 or less adjusted gross income per family)
- must prove involvement in co-curricular and community activities
- must have a minimum GPA of 2.0
- must be a US citizen

Auburn University Future Leaders Scholarship
- must be admitted as of the scholarship deadline Friday, September 30, 2005
- must have a 27 ACT score, a 3.5 GPA or top 10% class 4anking
- must complete application fully as directed, including, the essay question on the second page of the application
- must attach a resume of activities indicating achievements, activities, work experience, and other points of interest
- must have three letters of recommendation sent directly to the University Scholarship Office

The Beeson Exceptional Scholars Program
- must be a resident of Alabama and a senior at an accredited public high school
- must be able to meet all requirements for admission to Samford University and must be admitted by the time of any official announcement of award
- must demonstrate superior scholastic ability by performance in secondary school and on standardized examinations
- must evidence leadership inclination or capacity
- must be an active member in church and community affairs
- must be a person of high moral standards and principles, with no record of arrest
- must be unmarried and must never have been married
- must be willing to complete and file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1
- Nomination forms are due December 15, 2005.

The E.B. Kennedy Scholarship Program
